Katie Taylor is an Irish boxing superstar who has dominated the women’s boxing scene ever since she stepped into it. Currently, the 35-year-old tops the boxing stats as an undisputed champion with an undefeated resume. Notably, she is also a close acquaintance of fellow Irish athlete Conor McGregor.

Recently, ‘The Bray Bomber’ revealed she would prefer to face MMA fighters in a crossover bout if the opportunity ever arises.

In an episode of the MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, the two-time Olympic gold medalist verified she has indeed heard of a possible match-up with MMA legends such as Holly Holm and Cris Cyborg.

“I know there was mention of those fights, but I don’t think we ever seriously talked about it. Obviously, their names [Holly Holm and Cris Cyborg] came up over the last few years and there’s still huge possibilities that those fights can happen.” Taylor told Helwani. If they’re the fights that people want to see, I’d absolutely love to be involved.”

Cris Cyborg is a former UFC legend who has also served as the women’s featherweight champion in the promotion. As of now, Cyborg competes in Bellator where she is the women’s #1 pound-for-pound fighter.

Meanwhile, Holly Holm is an ace Mixed Martial artist who has defeated the likes of Ronda Rousey to become a UFC champion. Not only that, but Holm is also an ace boxer and is touted as one of the greatest female boxers of all time. Remarkably, she is the only female athlete in the world who has held a boxing championship, and UFC championship.

Amanda Serrano is a boxing legend who currently is on a whopping 27 fight winning streak. The Puerto Rican professional is coming off a win against Miriam Gutierrez. However, now, she has her eyes set on ‘The Bray Bomber’.

After her astounding win over Gutierrez, the 33-year-old called out Taylor(20-0) to determine who is the best active female boxer in the game. “We [Taylor and her] are both pound-for-pound top three. Some people have me at two or three. It doesn’t matter how you look at it. Two pound-for-pound girls going at it. You have an undisputed champion and a seven-division world champion going after each other.”
