Khamzat Chimaev took a jibe at his division’s champion, Kamaru Usman after a video of the latter surfaced on the internet where he was seen in a boxing sparring session.

‘Borz’ is one of the most dangerous fighters currently fighting in the UFC. The Swede has completely obliterated all of his competition inside the octagon. However, his goal is crystal clear, and that is the welterweight gold. And at the end of the road, he has to face Kamaru Usman, the 170-pounds kingpin in order to achieve his precious.

Hence, it is obvious of him to take jibes at ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ now and then. And he did the same recently when he shared a video of a lackluster sparring session that Usman was partaking in. “Canelo should be very afraid this is the guy to knock him out 🤷🏻‍♂️,” Chimaev captioned the sparring footage.

Usman, who is the pound-for-pound #1 fighter on the UFC roster, wants to settle the P4P debate in the combat sports world. And in order to do that, he wants to defeat Canelo Alvarez, that too, in a boxing match.

On the other hand, Chimaev, who is preparing for his fight at UFC 273, has formed a kinship with British MMA fighter Darren Till.

Khamzat Chimaev and Darren Till call Dana White after UFC London

The Russian-born Swede Khamzat Chimaev has become best friends with ranked British UFC fighter Darren Till. A kinship that was totally unexpected by their fans. The duo has become such good friends that they train, shop, and watch UFC PPVs together.

And the latest fun activity they found was calling UFC President Dana White. However, ‘Borz’ had a complaint about the head honcho that he made clear over the call.

“You give to the fat boy your number, you didn’t give to me. What’s wrong with you, brother? I smash everybody,” he told White.

But the UFC President had no reply to it as he couldn’t control his laughter and simply replied, “I love that you two are besties now.”
