Conor McGregor found himself a new Twitter rival as he unloaded on World heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury for praising his nemesis Khabib Nurmagomedov.

The Irishman called the Brit a ‘Tw*t’ for not helping Joe Saunders’ father Tom Saunders when security heckled him at the venue of Canelo Alvarez vs. Joe Saunders last year.

Although Fury had some savage replies for the Irishman. McGregor, in one of his latest Tweets, reminded Fury of his position a few years ago with a throwback video. “Conor McGregor is MMA, isn’t he? That said, the rest… I couldn’t name you three more fighters in MMA. I just couldn’t,” fans could hear Fury saying in the video.

Fans found themselves dumbstruck on Sunday after the premiere of UFC 271 as ‘The Notorious’ went after ‘The Gypsy King’ on Twitter. Prior to the heated exchanges both of them shared on Twitter yesterday, the fighters were believed to be on good terms.

Tyson Fury cheers for Conor McGregor
In an old video, ace pugilist Tyson ‘The Gypsy King’ Fury could be seen celebrating Conor McGregor’s comeback win over Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone at UFC 246. Fury was celebrating and cheering for ‘The Notorious’ alongside McGregor’s fiancé Dee Devlin.

The UFC 246 was a wild event as fans were excited about McGregor’s return. McGregor delivered to the fans as he stopped Cerrone in 40 seconds of the first round of their bout. Later, Fury also asked McGregor to make a boxing return after his win.
