Fury is an avid follower of MMA and, particularly, the UFC. That said, he never fails to comment about his favorite fighters and cheer them for their achievements. Accordingly, Fury came up with a tweet for Khabib Nurmagomedov, McGregor’s arch-rival.

Sharing a picture of him, Fury wrote some sublime words for the former UFC lightweight champ. “This man did it right. Got it & won & got out on top. Big respect @TeamKhabib”

McGregor was staggered with these comments and he ended up taking it to Twitter to hit at the WBC champ.

In this above tweet, ‘The Notorious’ jibed at Fury over one controversial point that happened last year. In May 2021, Fury was in the AT&T Stadium for Canelo Alvarez vs Billy Joe Saunders fight. Throughout the fight week, he remained with compatriot Saunders and cheered him for his big outing.

However, Saunders succumbed to a terrifying loss that night and even ended up with a swollen right eye. Citing his condition, ‘Superb’s father, Tom Saunders, attempted to dodge the security to go and check his son.
