Misfits & DAZN X Series 22: Ring of Thrones prelims are heating up, and the action is catching some serious steam! So far, the United States’ J’hon Ingram and English TV personality Demi Sims have scored impressive wins. That built the stage for the first title fight of the night—Carla Jade vs. Daryn Harris for the MFB Women’s Lightweight Title, and things ended dramatically

Jade, who once worked as a ring girl for Conor McGregor’s BKFC during their UK events, has been around the combat sports scene for quite some time. But nobody expected her transition to boxing to be this smooth. The English fighter burst onto the Misfits scene by beating Natasha Sweeney in her debut, then took down Nikki Hru to capture the 112 lbs title, which she later defended in a close contest against Melanie Shah. But this time, the stakes were different.

The reigning Misfits lightweight queen went all five rounds against American challenger Daryn Harris, using slick lateral movement, sharp uppercuts, and clean hooks while Harris kept pressing forward with pressure. In the end, the judges sided with Jade’s precision and composure, raising her hand as the winner. But as the celebration was going on! Australian Misfits fighter Arabella Del Busso, better known as ‘Little Bellsy’, stormed into the ring right after the fight and issued a stern challenge.

Bellsy fired back, yelling, “I’m the champ, fight somebody for f–in’ real! And that’s me! You’re next, b—tch… you’re next!” Well, it didn’t take long for the champ to clap back. Jade shot back with, “We’ve seen how that turns out before, hun! All squealy, ‘I’m the champ!’ You just came off a loss!” Clearly, Jade was throwing shade at Bellsy’s setback against Andrea-Jane Bunker in their 2023 Misfits showdown.

It was definitely an intense exchange, but the prelims had already lit the stage on fire. Earlier, Luke Rockhold and Dillon Danis nearly stole the spotlight with a heated confrontation of their own, adding even more tension before they head into the ring against their respective opponents.

Luke Rockhold confronted Dillon Danis before the Misfits event

Luke Rockhold is set to face Darren Till, while Dillon Danis will square off against Warren Spencer on the undercard at the same night. But that didn’t stop the former UFC middleweight champion from addressing his run-in with ‘El Jefe’ after their chaotic backstage weigh-in brawl.

Danis had claimed that he dropped Rockhold with a melee, but Rockhold told a very different story. According to a Bloody Elbow article, Rockhold said, “Well, he walked out of the elevator, I walked in. He talked his s—, and he got clapped. That’s what happens, little b—h a— troll. I see that motherf—er, round two, he’s gonna get it.”

That paints quite a different picture from Danis’ version of events. And with both men set to make their ring walks tonight, don’t be surprised if the bad blood spills over once again—especially if they both walk away with wins.

The Misfits Boxing prelims already closed out with fireworks and an explosive callout! As the main card rolls on, fans can expect plenty more chaos to come. So, which fight has been your favorite so far? Drop your thoughts below!
