Jake Paul has many rivals in the combat sports universe and his prime targets have always been top UFC fighters. These days, he’s trading blows with Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal. The YouTuber, after his last sensational win over Tyron Woodley, called out Masvidal and Diaz for a boxing bout. Since then, there’s massive news speculating about Paul’s next fight with either of the two.

Many consider Paul as a rugged test for Diaz only if the duo takes up the ring space. However, Diaz’s teammate, Chris Avila, believes the UFC fighter will beat ‘The Problem Child’ easily even in a boxing bout.

Recently, Avila chatted with MMA Fighting. Here he weighed in on the Paul vs Diaz matchup.

“I’m down to see that fight. But when you fight Nate Diaz, you’re getting the realest fighter of all time right there,” he said.

He further added, “Jake Paul’s team is zero. We’re one up already [with me beating Taylor]. That last fight was a Paul-Diaz, team versus team, Jake Paul made that. They’re already down one. So if he wants to get in the ring with Nate or me, it would be fine with either of us. I know that’s a fight I can win. I know that’s a fight Nate would win, hands down. Easy money.” (h/t Boxing Scene)

Over the past few months, ‘The Problem Child’ has traded some extensive verbal blows with Nate Diaz and more UFC names. Paul has a powerful urge to face the biggest of UFC names in the squared circle.

Will Jake Paul really get to face Nate Diaz or any UFC fighter next?

Nate Diaz and other UFC names like Jorge Masvidal come under their UFC contracts, which makes it impossible for them to face Jake Paul in the ring.

At this stage, a fight between them is impossible, but once Diaz and Masvidal’s contracts are over, there’ll be clarity about their fight with Paul.

2022 will be another vital year for ‘The Problem Child’ as it’ll be interesting to see if he gets to face any UFC fighter.
