The rematch between boxing legend Floyd Mayweather and UFC superstar Conor McGregor is making a powerful buzz in the world of combat sports. The two first locked horns back in 2017, which is still considered one of the most sensational fights in the sport. Even the press conferences were as exciting as the fight. However, Mayweather’s bodyguard once nearly knocked out McGregor.
UFC star Jorge Masvidal actively shares posts on his Facebook page about combat sports. He recently shared a post about the time when Floyd Mayweather’s bodyguard, Jizzy Mac picked up a fight with Conor McGregor.

Masvidal wrote in the caption, “#FloydMayweather’s Top Flight Bodyguard “Jizzy Mac” had this to say… “I could see the fear in #ConorMcGregor’s Eyes, He knew I would knock him out!”
The intensity of the press conferences was upping the anticipation for the magnanimous showdown back in 2017. However, in one such incident, ‘The Notorious’ had a brawl with Jizzy Mac, which made the bodyguard popular at that time. Nevertheless, recently Mac made some remarks about the Mayweather vs. McGregor rematch.

The last battle ended in the American winning the match via a 10th-round knockout. But the anticipation for the sequel has not been any less. The mega fight is rumored to be worth a staggering $1 billion. The boxer’s team is very confident that he would win against the Irishman once again.
Mayweather’s bodyguard Jizzy Mac was in conversation with MMAJUNKIE, where he mentioned, “One thing we do know: Conor, you can say what you want to say, but you got knocked out, and you got severe head trauma and a concussion that was reported by your doctor. Is the outcome going to be the same [in a rematch]? I truly believe that no one can outbox Floyd. No one can outwork Floyd. His offense and his defense and his technique – this man is just made for this.”
