At the peak of his boxing career, Jake Paul had a remarkable winning streak with several victories under his belt. Unfortunately, Tommy Fury ended his unbeaten record and added a loss to his portfolio. Throughout his journey, Paul faced some noteworthy opponents, including Anderson Silva and Tyron Woodley. However, it’s worth noting that these fighters were not in their prime and had transitioned to boxing from the UFC.

It appears that Paul is gearing up for a major fight this year. The fighter nicknamed the ‘Problem Child,’ has successfully arranged a bout with former UFC athlete Nate Diaz. He views this upcoming fight with Diaz as a significant challenge before he can face his ultimate opponent, the iconic Irish MMA fighter Conor McGregor.
As the upcoming fight between Jake Paul and Nate Diaz looms, Diaz’s former adversary, McGregor, is throwing his support behind the Stockton native. McGregor boldly predicted that Diaz will emerge victorious and “slap the head off” Jake Paul. It’s worth noting that McGregor has faced Diaz twice in the past, and even suffered a submission loss in one of those bouts. Both Jake Paul and Nate Diaz have responded to McGregor’s recent statement.

Nate Diaz and Jake Paul’s response to McGregor’s prediction
Even though Diaz and McGregor have been going back and forth on social media even after the former’s retirement, the 38-year-old former UFC fighter didn’t find McGregor supporting him in his upcoming bout against Paul, surprising.
Diaz and Paul held a rather perplexing press conference ahead of their fight. Nate Diaz left his seat twice and Jake Paul seemed to be more interested in a fight against McGregor. Boxing fans even called him out for his obsession with Mcgregor.

When questioned about McGregor’s statement, Diaz responded with a simple “No.” It was not a surprise to him. Diaz continued by stating that McGregor has extensive experience in the world of high-level fighting, having faced Diaz himself, as well as Floyd Mayweather. Meanwhile, Jake Paul also had something to say in response to the above-mentioned prediction. Paul even wrote a scathing reply on Twitter, claiming he will do what Conor couldn’t and knock Diaz out. He even challenged McGregor to a fight in Dublin on the same night as Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano.
Im a better boxer than you Connor and will do what you couldn’t and knock Nate out. After Nate let’s box as the co main event same night as Katie Taylor VS. Amanda Serrano in Dublin. But since you’re not your own boss you will hide behind Dana or just drink the rest of your life…
