Conor McGregor, without a doubt, is the biggest combat sports star of this era. Regardless of his UFC run over the past few years, the Irishman constantly remains a talk of the town. McGregor even stirred the boxing space when he took on one of the all-time legends, Floyd Mayweather, back in 2017.
Also, he’s remained open about his interest in taking up the ring space again. On top of this, McGregor also asserted upon working with one of the biggest promoters in boxing, Eddie Hearn.
In a chat with SecondsOut, ‘The Notorious’ said, “Sure, why not? No problem with Eddie. Never said, obviously as you said, always been respectful to me. He’s doing big things in boxing. All the love in the world, respect for Eddie and the Matchroom team.”

McGregor works with Paradigm Sports for now, but he’s open to collaborating with the Matchroom boss at some point. Hearn is a prime name in the boxing space who also works with Canelo Alvarez, the p4p boxing king.
‘The Notorious’ suffered a terrible loss in his last UFC fight against Dustin Poirier. Not just that, but McGregor even ended up injuring his leg, leaving millions of fans startled. However, he’s on his road to recovery and the Irishman is already elevating his training regimes.
Also, his last boxing bout came around 5 years ago, and in between McGregor was reported to face Manny Pacquiao too. But the latter retired and now there’s no chance of this fight to turn into a reality ahead.
