Boxing star and current 135 lbs unified champion Teofimo Lopez appears to be a fan of several UFC fighters, including the BMF Jorge Masvidal. In recent times, several UFC stars and boxers have teased possible crossovers, bringing both sports under the same spotlight.

Meanwhile, Lopez has seemingly replicated the same by expressing his love for the UFC stars. The 23-year-old connected with James Lynch and talked about several things, with one thing being his admiration for the UFC’s BMF champion.

“I do like (Jorge) Masvidal. I like him, I like his style, his swag, man. The way he walks and the way he is about his business, I like that man,” said Teofimo Lopez.

Meanwhile, ‘Take Over’ Lopez also revealed his admiration for UFC featherweight and bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes, and boxing champion Claressa Shields.

This isn’t the first time Lopez has expressed his opinion over the MMA promotions’ biggest stars. After winning the lightweight belts against Vasyl Lomachenko, he hinted at attending a live UFC event. That said, the future might hold something alluring for both Lopez and the UFC.

However, UFC has been hosting its events behind closed doors since the outbreak of Covid-19. They will re-open the doors to the fans with UFC 261 ‘Jorge Masvidal vs Kamaru Usman 2’, on April 24.

Meanwhile, Teofimo Lopez will return on May 29 against George Kambosos Jr. and seems to have begun his training camp. But if he gets to take some time off, especially when Jorge Masvidal would headline the event, we may see the 23-year-old appear at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida.
