Boxing is one of the most unpredictable sports in the world. You never know what will happen next. As such, a few years ago, Youtuber turned boxer Jake Paul entered the sport with enthusiasm and a good spirit. However, sometimes things don’t go as you wish them to. And unfortunately, Paul’s August 6th fight has yet again been canceled. Let’s see what UFC president Dana White had to say about it.

Recently Dana White was asked at a conference about his views on the subject. He replied, “I will say this, just because you were an accountant here, doesn’t mean you know what the f*ck goes on here. It doesn’t mean you can run a fight promotion company, you know. I think Jake Paul probably needs to get some different people around him. If he is gonna stay in this sport, he needs to be with guys that actually really know how to put on fights.”

White has played a major role in the international success of the UFC. The man, who has the extensive industry knowledge, has given Paul advice on how to keep this business afloat. White advised the 25-year-old to be around individuals who know how to put on fights.
Dana White sheds light on what went wrong with Jake Paul’s August 6th fight
August was a month that was filled with good fights in boxing. Surprisingly, one of the anticipated bouts of the month was canceled a week before it was to take place. Paul’s boxing career was about to take a turn as he was going up against his toughest opponent to date. Additionally, Paul’s business, MVP Promotions, was to organize the bout. But when Hasim Rahman Jr. withdrew, Paul and his business unquestionably suffered an enormous loss.

A reporter asked Dana White, “What did you make of whole the disappointment was too big?’

He replied, “I think they sold a million dollars in tickets and it cost five hundred thousand dollars to turn the f*ck*ng lights on in MSG. That’s what I think. Not to mention the fact that hotel rooms in New York, transportation, and everything else is expensive, yeah.”
Dana is convinced this cancellation has cost Jake Paul and arm and a leg. Therefore, his advice is to replace the people he’s in business with if he wants to have a chance at a successful promotion company.

The August 6th fight has been canceled for the second time now. It has not only disappointed Paul, but it has certainly disheartened fans as well.
