Jake Paul Gives Props to Bitter Foe Dana White While Revealing What He Believes Is the Reason “Why Boxing Is Dying”

One of the most exciting fighters currently in boxing is the YouTube sensation, Jake Paul. Additionally, the Ohio-born fighter had a long-standing beef with the UFC President, Dana White, ever since he entered the world of combat sports. However, things aren’t all low blows with the duo.

Ahead of his fight against Hasim Rahman Jr; Paul acknowledged and appreciated what White is doing with the UFC.

What did Jake Paul compliment Dana White?

Jake Paul revealed in an interview with Ariel Helwani, the host of the show MMA Hour, that he admired the way the UFC President handled his business. Even though the duo had been going back and forth with each other for a while, Paul gave White the credit he deserved.

Paul believes that boxing is dying because huge fights with the biggest names in the industry aren’t mandatory. While it’s the opposite in UFC, White makes huge fights a reality with the biggest names going toe to toe against each other.

He complimented White by saying, “This is why boxing is dying because these fights aren’t mandatory no one can force them to do these fights like they can in the UFC. So that’s why I give the UFC props, that’s why I give Dana White props.”

What is happening with Paul vs Rahman Jr fight?

During the same interview, Paul claimed that Rahman Jr. was trying to renegotiate the terms of the fight to make more money. Additionally, he displayed his concerns regarding the bout ever taking place.

However, Hasim Rahman Jr. quickly responded and put to rest any rumors about the fight was ever in jeopardy. He stated that he was ready to fight ‘The Problem Child’ on August 6, 2022.
