Jake Paul has turned into a hot sensation in the sport of boxing. Over the past few months, he’s been a predominant face of the game who’s engaged in some physical as well as verbal tussles with bigwigs of boxing and MMA.

He principally broke into the news headlines after his sensational win over the ex-NBA star, Nate Robinson. Post that, he called out enormous mixed martial artists, and the biggest name on that list was the former UFC double champ, Conor McGregor.

Until now, Paul has expressed his interest in fighting the Irishman several times. But he hasn’t quite etched a response from the former. In his recent interaction with The Herd, Paul again showed his anticipation to fight McGregor.

He said, ‘‘I think it will happen. Look, I’m the money fight for Conor McGregor right now. There is no other fighter right now who is one a bigger level than me that is calling out Conor McGregor and wants to fight Conor.. [And] If we do fight. I’m going to knock him out.” (h/t ESPN Ringside)

Jake Paul will battle out Tyron Woodley on August 29th for his next boxing outing. But his ultimate aim to fight ‘The Notorious’ is still at its peak and ‘The Problem Child’ wants to make this fight anyhow.

But on the other hand, the Irishman is on his pursuit to become the undisputed lightweight champion in the UFC again. And consequently, he won’t look to budge his attention by again lacing up the boxing gloves.

McGregor, in his last fight against Dustin Poirier, broke his leg viciously. That said, he’s currently recovering with the same, and his fire to be the ultimate champ has crossed boundaries.

With that, the probabilities of him fighting Jake Paul in a proficient boxing bout seem to be slim. However, this fight can still take place if McGregor fulfills his wish to be the champ and abruptly moves to boxing for a couple of money fights.
