Paul had previously expressed his desire to fight McGregor in an interview with Ariel Helwani of ‘The MMA Hour’. In fact, he mentioned that their fight was certain to take place with it being a 75 – 100 million dollar event. Paul even stated that he was waiting for McGregor to actively start fighting again.
It is also worth noting that Floyd Mayweather Jr. recently offered McGregor USD 157.9 million for a rematch.
However, Paul’s statement did not sit well with McGregor, who took to a series of tweets to call Paul a ‘nobody’.

And the last one you had was against Cowboy Cerrone, who hasn’t won a fight against anyone since fighting you.”
Moreover, he also went on to take a swipe at McGregor, by stating that he has earned more and sold more PPV’s comparatively.

Further, Paul issued a challenge for a ‘200 million dollar’ fight. He said, “Fix your calcium deficiency. Stop breaking your bones. Let’s get in the f*cking ring and make 200 million dollars.”
Moreover, Paul also claimed that McGregor and he were not at the same level. He stated that while he was his own boss, McGregor was answerable to Dana White. In closing, Paul also advised McGregor to stay away from social media and to get back in the ring. Will Jake Paul’s usual antics get him a fight against ‘the Notorious?’
