Jake Paul is rightly expanding his footprint in the boxing space. In just two years, he’s become a household name in the sport and there’s absolutely no stopping for him. Not just that, but Paul slowly and steadily wishes to step into the MMA space and there are some top-class UFC fighters on his radar.
Paul always remained assertive about battling his UFC rivals in the ring. But, it seems he is open to taking them on inside the octagon too.
Recently, ‘The Problem Child’ was in a chat with JOE. Here, he spoke about signing with the UFC and more.

“For sure, 100%. You know, I don’t see why not. I have a wrestling background, and when the time’s right, it’s gonna take a big bag. Someone’s gonna have to come with a big bag, but if the bag is there, I’m kicking somebody in the head for sure.” he said.
Jake Paul has a massive rivalry with Dana White and the fight fans are well acquainted with the same. In order to mock the UFC boss, Paul takes on former UFC fighters, looking to score big KO wins against them. Last month, he even jibed at White, issuing him a challenge revolving around fighters’ pay.

In this challenge, Paul openly asserted about retiring from boxing and fighting Jorge Masvidal in the UFC, provided White accepted those challenges. Although White did not open up on these challenges, Paul’s interest in competing in the UFC octagon was evident.

Will Jake Paul fight in the UFC octagon this year?
For now, Jake Paul has a vital challenge in hand and that is to confront pro-boxers this year.

Citing that, it seems Paul will have to escalate his career in the ring itself in 2022. His plans to compete in the MMA side are undoubtedly there in contention. Albeit, the casual boxing lovers expect something big from Paul on the boxing side.
