During a recent encounter in Atlanta, a reporter claimed that Jones confirmed the ongoing talks and even showed text messages between himself and Tyson Fury to him. The proposed agreement would involve one boxing match followed by one MMA bout, with Jones expressing no hesitation to step into the boxing ring against Fury first.

Jones will be attending PFL5 to support his teammate Maurice Greene. However, the former champion Francis Ngannou will also be present in the arena adding another layer of intrigue to this possible crossover fight. “The Gypsy King’ on the other hand is also confident he could beat both Jones and Ngannou, even offering to face both fighters on the same night.

Tyson Fury issues a massive challenge

The WBC heavyweight champion recently took to social media and called out the MMA legends for a fight. In a video Fury can be heard calling out both Jones and Ngannou for a match in just one night.

“Here’s a thought, how about this. How about I fight Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou on the same night. How about that? That’s how much I value them two bums. Get up! Let’s go boys.” said Fury
