Khabib Nurmagomedov is busy promoting his Eagle FC these days, and he’s also looking to sign some noteworthy fighters. The former UFC lightweight champ even rolled out an offer to Jake Paul, who’s making waves in the boxing space. However, the YouTuber turned boxer put forth a condition, i.e. of fighting Nurmagomedov first.
On the recent Full Send podcast, Nurmagomedov, gave some candid answers about whether he’ll ever contend with Jake Paul.
“He late little bit, because I’m finished, and I was like. Of course, we can, we can think about this. Like I watch like, it was sparring or I watch his some video, he was doing like MMA with someone, I was like, he’s like, he have to learn a lot you know.”

“Boxing is like, you know how to punch. It’s not bad like on boxing game you know. Anybody can box.” he added.
Nurmagomedov last fought on the big stage at the UFC 254 against Justin Gaethje. Nobody knew that would turn out as the Russian fighter’s last MMA contest. After winning the fight via a triangle choke, Nurmagomedov signed off from the sport.

Since then, he’s remained adamant about not taking up the octagon space. But, with his above comments, it seems Nurmagomedov is keeping himself updated with Paul’s progress in boxing. Moreover, there seems a slight inclination from ‘The Eagle’ towards Paul‘s advances.
Is Khabib Nurmagomedov willing to fight Jake Paul?
The former UFC king of the lightweights is open to getting Jake Paul under the Eagle FC banner. However, there seems little interest from Nurmagomedov’s end to battle the Ohio native himself.

Also, if Jake Paul doesn’t get to face a biggie, his debut inside the octagon seems unlikely this year.
Furthermore, ‘The Problem Child’ and Nurmagomedov are polar opposites with what they’re doing in their current lives. Citing that, a fight between the two men seems far from materializing.
