American Youtube sensation, Jake Paul, started boxing in 2018, and within a very short period of time, he has grown to be a known face in the industry. Paul has squared off inside the ring 5 times until now, and he is looking forward to fighting his 6th opponent soon. He has defeated two UFC fighters so far, but some fans question how can a new fighter defeat two experienced fighters. Take a look at what another personality from the Octagon has to say about it.

The UFC lightweight, Michael Chandler, was in conversation with Patrick Bet-David, where the latter asked Chandler about his friends Tyron Woodley, and Ben Askren. He further asked whether they took a dive against Jake Paul.

Chandler replied, “I don’t know, I honestly haven’t talked to either of them about it. I think it’s probably a sore subject for both of them. I don’t think it was a dive, I could be wrong, I don’t know.”

He further added, “I think he (Jake Paul) has a trajectory. I think he’s very young in the sport, I think it’s still, you can be somewhat critical of the fact, that yes he has not fought any high-level boxers whatsoever. And also sing his praises that he does look pretty decent for a guy who is going out there and fighting. He can move, he’s got fast hands.”

Well, many boxing spectators suspect that Woodley, and Askren, purposely lost the fight. However, there has been no proof of the same. Nevertheless, Paul is steadily growing as a boxer, and now he is all set to go up against the toughest opponent of his career on October 29.

‘The Problem Child’ is slated to clash with the UFC legend, Anderson Silva, on October 29. However, Paul is already looking for his next opponent. The Ohio native has called out big names from the combat sports world for a potential battle in the past. Earlier he wanted a clash with Conor McGregor, and Canelo Alvarez, and now he wants to go up against Nate Diaz.

While talking to MMAJUNKIE, Paul stated, “But yeah, if he can actually become a free agent then I think that’s a cool fight. I would love to do that. I’m not overlooking Anderson Silva, but there’s beef between Nate Diaz and I.”

Well, currently the 25-year-old, is preparing for his anticipated fight against Silva. But only time will tell, if fans get to see him battle against Diaz in the future.
