And recently, a UFC legend shared his thoughts on how ‘Iron Mike’ would fare against the current WBC and The Ring heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury.
Fury recently claimed a magnificent eleventh-round KO victory in his trilogy fight against Deontay Wilder. The pair put on a ‘Fight of the Year’ worthy performance, both scoring two knockdowns before ‘The Gypsy King’ eventually finished Wilder.

Ever since then, fans have been wondering what is next for Fury. However far-fetched it may seem, the idea of Fury and Tyson sharing a boxing ring is mind-boggling. And recently, a UFC legend shared his prediction for this intriguing dream match-up.

The UFC legend in question here is none other than the former UFC two-division champion Henry Cejudo, who is also the co-host of Tyson’s podcast named ‘Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson.’ Recently, he had an interview with ES News, which is where he talked about Tyson vs. Fury.

ES News – “Mike Tyson against Tyson Fury, who wins?”
Cejudo – “Mike Tyson! Youngest heavyweight of all time and the oldest.”
ES News – “Easy or hard?”
Cejudo – “Man, the weights. I think (x2) Mike can get inside the body. It takes one hit. Tyson Fury has been down before.
ES News – “What round?”
Cejudo – “Yeah, he would have to get it done within the couple rounds. That’s the best bet. But I got my money on uncle Mike. You know he is named after him. He might be his kryptonite.”

Fury was born three months premature and weighed only 1 pound, on August 12, 1988. As per his father, John Fury, the doctors told that there was not much chance of Fury surviving as he had previously lost two daughters who had been born prematurely.

However, Fury fought his way to survive a premature birth and now is one of the greatest heavyweights of this era. At the time, ‘Iron Mike’ was the heavyweight world champion. Thus, John Fury decided to take the boxing legend’s last name, Tyson, as his child’s first name, a fighter who survived the premature birth.
