Fight fans across the world have, at some point, imagined themselves walking out to the ring with music echoing in the background, just like Mike Tyson making his way to dismantle an opponent. The atmosphere of a ring walk carries an unmatched energy—leaving audiences awestruck and brimming with anticipation for what’s to come.
As Misfits Boxing 22, headlined by Darren Till and Luke Rockhold, draws closer, speculation is already mounting over one key detail: the choice of walkout music. And not just about the boxers in the main event, but also the star-studded lineup leading up to it. While the exact song these fighters will use is anybody’s guess, their past entrance music can give you a good idea.

Darren Till vs. Luke Rockhold walkout songs
‘The Gorilla’ has used several songs for his ring walk music over the years. Back in 2015, during his fight against Nicolas Dalby on UFC Fight Night 76, the fight may have ended in a draw, but Till came into the ring with the intention to win. He strutted down the alley to ‘Radioactive’ from Imagine Dragons, a heart-pumping song to get everyone in the mood for some action. For his 2022 bout against Dricus Du Plessis at UFC 282, Darren Till chose ‘Tourner Dans Le Vide’ by Indila as his walkout track. Yet, his most memorable entrance came three years earlier at UFC 244, when the 32-year-old made his way to the Octagon to Neil Diamond’s timeless classic ‘Sweet Caroline’ ahead of his clash with Kelvin Gastelum.

Known as a crowd-favorite sing-along, the song electrified the atmosphere, drawing fans into the moment and generating tremendous hype. With Till representing Liverpool, the walkout became one of the most iconic highlights of his career. Now, turning to Rockhold, during his fight against Chris Weidman at UFC 194 in 2015, he chose ‘Won’t Back Down’ by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.

When Rockhold lost to Paulo Costa at UFC 278 in 2022, he used ‘The Point of No Return’ by Immortal Technique. Regardless, what about the fighters on the undercard of the bout?
Walkout songs of Tony Ferguson, Dillon Danis, and other fighters
For a long time now, Tony Ferguson has used ‘The Party Has Just Begun’ by Freestyle as his ring walk music. So, you can expect him to do the same for his fight against Salt Papi this Saturday night. Meanwhile, during his fight against Josh Brueckner, Salt Papi used ‘BEBOT’ by Black Eyed Peas, a song sung entirely in Tagalog, a language of the Philippines, where Papi is from.

Papi has made his entrance theme a trademark, using the same track for his walkout in the fight against Slim. On the other hand, Dillon Danis chose to stride to ‘Freed From Desire’ by Gala for his showdown with Logan Paul. Interestingly, Danis later revealed that the song wasn’t his original choice—according to him, the promoter and broadcaster pulled his preferred walkout music at the last moment.
