He entered a mammoth showdown against Deiveson Figueiredo and, being the underdog; he shook everyone from the core. This fight unquestionably went as one of the best clashes in Moreno’s career, and more than that, it went down as his biggest achievement to date.

Recently, the boxing legend, Nonito Donaire, opened up on Moreno’s title win. He posted a picture with Moreno on his Twitter handle and wrote, Odds were against us. But when they are, we show up. Congrats to my brother @theassassinbaby 4 getting what is urs. Glad to have had camps side by side with you and sparred brother for this camp. So grateful I got to see you off after my fight before you took off for yours.”

Later, a fan reacted to the same by rolling out, “No wonder why Moreno won.”

However, these comments reached Donaire, and he responded to the same by writing, “Brandon won bc he learned what he needed to from all aspects, put em all together n executed. Nothing to do with me.”

The WBC bantamweight champ credited Moreno solely for his hard-earned win. Moreover, he even revealed that he sparred with ‘The Assassin Baby’ prior to his fight.
