‘People Act Like Bruce Lee Didn’t Show off Himself’: Fans Go Wild as Jorge Masvidal Reacts to ‘Wannabe Mayweather’ Getting Taught ‘Valuable Lesson in Karma’

The trash talk before the fight often goes wrong. The over-impulsive fighters sometimes cross the limits while showing their aggression and later in the bout, when tables turn on them, it becomes a very embarrassing moment. Recently, the UFC welterweight champion Jorge Masvidal shared a post on Facebook, which highlighted a similar contest between Adrien Broner vs Marcos Maidana.

He wrote, “When Keeping It Real Goes Terribly Wrong. #AdrienBroner gets taught a valuable lesson in #Karma by #MarcosMadiana that he will never forget!”

Labeled as ‘The Danger Zone’ was the highly anticipated bout between Broner and Maidana for the WBA welterweight title. Before the fight, the champion Broner was too confident in his skills. During the face-off, he crossed all limits of roasting the challenger, Maidana. Passed several mocking remarks and even tried to get physical.

Meanwhile, Maidana kept his cool. He remained silent and did not engage in any drama. But when he met Broner in the ring, he unleashed his wrath in the form of lethal combinations. Before Broner could settle in the ring and understand Maidana’s game plan, the latter hurt him badly. He even dropped the champion in the beginning rounds.

The fight went for twelve rounds, and Maidana emerged as the winner by decision. When this post came on social media, fans react to it.

“He underestimated that Indian blood. The cardio on that guy is crazy”, another fan added.

Notably, Maidana and the undefeated former champ Floyd Mayweather contested for the welterweight championship twice in the year 2014. Though Maidana lost by decision, he gave Mayweather a hard time.
