Boxing is no longer confined to just professional fighters. Even internet personalities and other celebrities participate in boxing fights, and they have become an integral part of the industry. UFC fighter Jorge Masvidal recently shared a post about a vicious knockout from an athlete’s debut boxing fight. 

Former NFL player Frank Gore made his boxing debut in May 2022. The bout took place at the Gamebred Boxing event in Mississippi. Gore knocked out his opponent Yaya Olorunsola in the fourth round, emerging as the winner. 

Following that, Jorge Masvidal shared a video of the fight and wrote ‘Savage’. Even fans commented on the vicious knockout and shared their insights in the comments section. 

Upcoming boxing fights that everyone is waiting for 

Just a while back, Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua engaged in a rematch inside the squared circle. Similar to the first battle, Usyk outclassed AJ, and he was declared the victor. It was widely believed that Tyson Fury would face the fight’s winner. Fans were ecstatic to hear the news of Usyk and ‘The Gypsy King’ engage in a thrilling duel. However, there has recently been talk of a Fury vs. Joshua fight as well.

Furthermore, recently Mexican superstar Canelo Alvarez retained his undisputed super-middleweight title as he defeated Gennady Golovkin in a trilogy fight. However, some time back, boxing fans witnessed the biggest upset of the sport as Russian boxer Dmitry Bivol defeated Alvarez. But both boxers agreed for a rematch, and fans can’t wait to witness the showdown.

In addition, Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia are also in talks for a potential fight. Both the boxers have been strutting their way to continue their undefeated streak, but now they will finally face each other. There has been no official announcement about it yet, but the news has already made fans go wild about it. It is speculated that the fight will take by the end of the year.
