Such is the case with Olympic medalist Katie Taylor and Conor McGregor, who have found mutual inspiration in each other’s accomplishments. Both fighters hail from Ireland and have been following each other’s paths since they started competing. Although their sport might be different, it has certainly not affected the admiration they have for one another.

Taylor is scheduled to face the undisputed champion at 140 pounds Chantelle Cameron. The Ireland native, who is also currently the undisputed champion at 135 pounds will look to become a champion in two divisions. Despite fighting in prestigious venues like Madison Square Garden and Olympic arenas, Taylor has never had the opportunity to showcase her talents on home soil until now. Moreover, it seems that ‘The Notorious One’ is confident that she will get the job done seeing similarities between himself and her.
