Snoop Dogg, Henry Cejudo, Claressa Shields, Julianna Pena, and Others All Over the World Wish Mike Tyson a Happy 56th Birthday

Mike Tyson has been one of the most prominent figures in boxing history, having a legendary career that has only been matched by a selected few. Apart from his boxing prowess, his confident personality and presence outside the ring have also made him a very popular figure in pop culture.


So it came as no surprise when the boxing world, along with other celebrities, wished ‘Iron Mike’ on his birthday as the legend turned 56.

Boxers, MMA fighters, and even celebrities like Snoop Dogg, Henry Cejudo, Claressa Shields, and many others took to social media to show their love for ‘Kid Dynamite’ and wish him a happy birthday. Music Icon Snoop Dogg shared a story of Tyson on The Pivot Podcast where the champ recently made an appearance and shared this photo on his story.

Former two-division UFC champion Henry Cejudo also took to Twitter, wishing his ‘Uncle’ and posting a picture of him and Tyson. He wrote, “Happy 56th birthday to the one and only Uncle Mike.@MikeTyson I’ve had so much laughs and learned so much from you uncle Mike. Your nephew – Triple C.”

Olympic gold medalist Claressa Shields also wished her ‘idol’ on Twitter as she wrote, “Happy bday @MikeTyson !!!!! Forever one of my idols.”

Moreover, UFC Bantam Weight contender Julianna Pena shared a photo of her and Tyson in her story and wrote, “Happy birthday @Mike Tyson! God bless you man!!”

Donald Trump’s campaign advisor, Steve Cortes, also wished Tyson and called him the master of early knockouts.

He wrote, “Good morning! Happy birthday to ⁦@MikeTyson⁩, born today in 1966 in Brooklyn. At 20 he became the youngest heavyweight champ ever and became the master of early round knockouts.”

Furthermore, former boxer and Tyson’s rival, Frank Bruno, wished Tyson and claimed that he looked younger every year. He wrote, “Afternoon its a very happy Birthday to my pal @MikeTyson he looks younger every year!”

However, these were not the only people who came out to wish Tyson, as many boxing channels and media outlets wished the legend on their social media handles.

Streaming service DAZN took to their Twitter page and posted a photo of Tyson showing him throughout the years with the caption, “From then to now… happy birthday to the Baddest Man on the Planet.@MikeTyson.”

British broadcasting service Sky Sports also wished him and posted a video of his sparring session with the caption, “The fiercest pad routine you’ll ever see! Happy birthday, @MikeTyson”

Moreover, boxing promotion Top Rank made a highlight reel of Tyson showcasing his knockout with the caption,”Baddest Man On The Planet. Happy birthday to the legendary,@MikeTyson.”

US boxing publication Ring Magazine posted a picture of Tyson holding their magazine with him on the cover and wrote, “Happy birthday to former two-time heavyweight champion of the world @MikeTyson #boxing.”

Tyson was one of the most notorious and controversial boxers of his time. However, ‘Iron Mike’ has now become one of the most beloved figures in mainstream media and certainly deserves the love and attention he is getting from everyone.
