Boxing legend Mike Tyson has never been one to shy away from confrontation. The former heavyweight champ was notorious for his various altercations with reporters and media professionals. His most infamous confrontation came when, years back in an interview, Tyson was visibly upset by a reporter’s questions and remarks.

‘Iron’ Mike once sounded off on a reporter for bringing up some of his past controversies. Moreover, former UFC title challenger Jorge Masvidal recently posted the video of the confrontation on his Facebook page.

‘Gamebred’ came out in support of his idol and claimed that the reporter had it coming for disrespecting Tyson. “The news reporter completely crosses the line with blatant disrespect towards #MikeTyson and this is what happened!” Masvidal wrote in the caption.

This was not all, as the fans were also quick to react to Masvidal’s post and shared their thoughts on it.

One fan stated that the media is like a moral police that tried to always judge people. “Media think they’re the judges of us all, ‘ he wrote. Another fan claimed that the reporter realized he made a grave mistake by offending Tyson.

He realized he made a terrible mistake brining up Mike’s past. Lol,” he wrote. Moreover, one fan thought that the reporter was lucky he didn’t get knocked out by Tyson. “Dudes lucky he didn’t get knocked out!.” he wrote

Another fan went as far as claiming that this was the best interview he had ever seen. He stated that Iron Mike terrified the reporter, who immediately regretted his statements. “This is the greatest interview I’ve ever seen, I watch this at least once a week for a good laugh. That guy was pi*sing his pants after he said that.” he wrote.

Lastly, one fan stated that the reporter got exactly what he deserved and was lucky that Tyson didn’t punch him. “That reporter deserves what he got. He is lucky Mike didn’t upper cut him,” he wrote.
