Mike Tyson in a recent episode of his show Hotboxin’, featured former UFC welterweight champ Kamaru Usman as a guest. Usman lost the belt to Leon Edwards and is currently ranked no. 7 in the pound-for-pound list as per UFC rankings. Usman is more than just a fighter as he made his acting debut last year. The 35-year-old will play a cameo in the highly anticipated Marvel movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. During the making of the film, Usman interacted with many notable personalities from Hollywood including the likes of Michaela Coel.

Coel is a British screenwriter and actress. Coel reportedly plays a brand new character, ‘Aneka’ in Wakanda Forever, the sequel to Black Panther. During the making, she met with the former welterweight champion of the UFC. Safe to say, the actress is now friends with Usman as the two were seen together in attendance for a UFC event. Tyson teased Usman about hanging out with her which went wrong.

What did Mike Tyson say to Kamaru Usman?

Tyson sat down with Usman in the recent most episode of his podcast, the podcast lasted for over an hour. The two, amongst other things, discussed, Usman’s career, being from Nigeria, not expecting to fight in the MMA. However, as and when the episode started, Tyson teased Usman for hanging out with the Hollywood actress. He stated, I see you hanging out with a pretty actress; an African actress.”

However, Usman mentioned that Coel is like his sister and mentioned what he likes about her. He responds, Yeah Miss Michaela Coel, that’s like my sister. Amazing writer, producer, director, actor. To which, Tyson responded saying, “You look beautiful together.”

After having a laugh, Usman added, “She is an amazing individual we actually met on the set of black panther. So we’re filming, and I met some amazing actors and actresses on that set.” One might speculate that Tyson was under the impression that the two might have a romantic relationship with how he framed the question but Usman cleared the air.

Tyson’s cameos in animated shows

A new version of Tyson’s biopic was in the making for which Jamie Foxx was rumored to be playing the role of ‘the baddest man on the planet’. However, it was reported that the former heavyweight champion now wants his biopic to be in an animated form. Tyson has been a part of movies and shows in his own right. Apart from his own biopic in 2008, Tyson, the former heavyweight champion starred in the Mike Tyson Mysteries series as a cartoon version of himself. And he has also been featured in the show, Family Guy.
