Paul was at the presser ahead of his upcoming showdown against Hasim Rahman Jr. During an interview post, the presser, a reporter asked him, “What do you think of the year we are having? The year boxing is having right now.”

In response, Paul mentioned that boxing has been taking over the MMA scene. He said, “It’s great. That’s what I’m saying. There’s so much momentum. And, now you see boxing taking over MMA. The MMA scene has been f*cking dead.”

Moreover, he also blamed the UFC for not putting forth noteworthy events. Paul said, “The UFC hasn’t been putting any events that anyone’s been talking about. Yet boxing had had massive fights, back to back to back.”

Additionally, Paul also mentioned that he was elated to see the sport of boxing regain its old glory.

Jake Paul wishes to fight Conor McGregor

Jake Paul seems to be on a quest for a gargantuan payday. And, for this, he is in pursuit of none other than UFC superstar Conor McGregor.

Recently, Paul was in conversation with Ariel Helwani of ‘The MMA Hour‘. Talking about a potential fight with McGregor, Paul mentioned that he was certain that the bout will happen. However, he added that he wished to have a few more fights prior to that. And, for McGregor to be active again following which a major payday will happen.

It is worth noting that a Paul vs McGregor showdown will surely be a sight to witness.
