Although Francis Ngannou still speaks skeptically about their MMA gloves-boxing match, ‘The Gypsy King’ is pretty clear how he wants this to go. In a recent interview with ESPN, the Brit opened up on the ‘stand-up punching battle’ he expects against ‘The Predator’.

‘The Gypsy King’ said, “Yeah, he’s definitely a machine, that’s for sure. He’s definitely a good puncher and all that. And let’s face it, it’s not a wrestling match or no grabbing or anything. So, it’s just a stand-up punching battle with small gloves on. He’s got big power and so have I, and whoever lands first will get a knockout.”

“So, I’d be interested with that bout. Like I said, Dillian Whyte’s a much more harder challenge than Francis Ngannou at this moment for me. So, I only focus on Dillian Whyte for the next fight. Which is to be announced very shortly,” Fury added.

“I love seeing him fight in MMA. But I want to see him box because I want to see him get a giant chunk of money. Like Conor McGregor’s style, Floyd Mayweather chunk of money. Because when Conor fought, Floyd Mayweather made a $100 million.”
