Ahead of the anticipated Gervonta Davis vs. Hector Luis Garcia fight, talkSport correspondent Michael Benson unearthed a forgotten 22-year-old clip of Gervonta Davis. In this clip, a 6-year-old Davis was seen sparring with another kid similar to his age inside a boxing gym. As the opponent kid lowered his guard and approached Davis, the latter hit the former with a clear and fast left hand, rattling the former in a sting!

Among others, the brief clip caught the attention of former lightweight champion Charles Oliveira from the UFC. Oliveira, who recently lost his UFC title belt to Islam Makhachev in Abu Dhabi, UAE, reacted to the ‘Tank’ clip. Even at only 6 years of age, Davis’ understanding of reach and timing amazed Charles Oliveira who expressed his astonishment in a tweet.
