Controversial internet celebrity, Andrew Tate, has become one of the most talked about names in the recent past. He came to light due to his controversial remarks about women. Before gaining notoriety in the online world, Tate was a successful kickboxer and had four world titles to his name. However, his online career did not last long as he was banned from social media sites. Popular podcaster, Joe Rogan, recently delved into what led to Tate being banned.
In a recent episode of his podcast, Joe Rogan and his guests were talking about the controversial video of Tate hitting and abusing a woman. Rogan stated, “Why is that bad, but there’s all these videos that I’ve laughed my as* off at dudes b*ll g*gged like CEOs? I’ve not seen them tied behind their back, that’s somehow or another okay.”

“But it’s because the guy is the powerful one. The guy has allowed the woman to do that to him,” Rogan concluded.
Apparently, Tate was titled a ‘woman beater,’ after an old video of him beating a woman resurfaced on the internet. However, Tate later revealed that the woman did it by her choice.

The former kickboxer suddenly gained notoriety on the internet, but for all the wrong reasons. Several times Tate landed himself in controversies due to his ‘misogynist’ remarks. His social media ban came as a relief for critics who were sick and tired of his content.

While explaining about the video of him beating the woman, Tate said, “A video of me, from 10 years ago came out on the newspaper. I’m about to play you a video I made maybe two years after that event of me and the woman from the video, the alleged ‘beating victim’ sitting in a hotel room. This chick who I’m still with is cray-cray.”

After saying this, he played a clip where Tate and the woman are conversing about Tate hitting her. It seemed like a role play, where Tate is beating her and the woman is enjoying it.
