On his Podcast, ‘Hotboxin with Mike Tyson’ with UFC President Dana White as his guest, ‘Iron Mike’ commented on the fight. Lewis knocked out Blaydes with an uppercut as he shot for a takedown. However, after Blaydes was down, ‘The Black Beast’ landed two more vicious blows. These two added punches caught the attention of Tyson.

Impressing Mike Tyson will be a big feat for Derrick Lewis

Tyson is one of the hardest punchers the sport has ever seen. He had unquestionable power and could change the fight with a single blow. Therefore, for him to credit ‘The Black Beast’ for his power will mean a lot to Derrick Lewis.

Lewis, who is famous for his power punches, is tied for the most wins by knockout in UFC history. Therefore, his power is no secret to fans of the sport. However, getting validation from ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ will be the cherry on the cake for Lewis after a fantastic win.

The reason the two punches scared Tyson was the fact that ‘Razor’ Blaydes was already out. Unlike boxing, in MMA, you can throw punches while a man is down and ‘The Black Beast’ did just that. However, Lewis had a hilarious explanation for why he landed the two additional punches.

What do you make of these comments from Mike Tyson? Do you think Derrick Lewis is the scariest heavyweight in the UFC?
