Namajunas is reportedly making a comeback after 7 months. She last fought in July 2020 on the Usman vs Masvidal card. In a three-round fight, the 28-year-old defeated Jessica Andrade with a split decision. With this win, ‘Thug’ ranked herself top in contention for a title fight against the champ Zhang Weili.

With a 10-4 track record, Namajunas will look to annihilate ‘Magnum’ and dethrone her to grab the title.

The ‘Thug’ batters her opponents to the pulp and gives her best shot in every octagon appearance. This is predominantly why she’s stormed as a fan-favorite in no time.

But on the flip side, Weili is undefeated in the UFC until now. And cracking her won’t be a straightforward job for Namajunas. ‘Magnum’ holds a massive record of 21 wins with just 1 loss to her name.

This fight is unquestionably the best UFC women’s fight of 2021. Given both their records and astonishing numbers, this bout promises to stay true to fans’ expectations.
