Recently, tennis fans saw Alexander Zverev win his second title of the year at the ATP Cologne 2. He had already won the first title there, which meant that he was the favorite coming into the second one.
In the final, he thrashed Diego Schwartzman who had absolutely no answers to his shots. Zverev was obviously delighted about this win and so was his family. To highlight their shared joy, Zverev posted a picture with his loved ones.
Seeing this, Sascha’s coach, David Ferrer, took to Twitter to congratulate them on all the hard work they had put in.

Alexander Zverev – David Ferrer Partnership
Back in July, Alexander Zverev started working on a trial basis with David Ferrer. Nobody knew whether Sascha would officially hire him; however, within a few weeks, he confirmed that David would be his coach. He felt that they understood each other really well and that they would make a really good team. Clearly, he was right.
Ever since Ferrer started coaching him, the German has enjoyed a lot of success. He reached his first-ever Grand Slam final at the US Open and has won 2 back-to-back titles in Cologne.

Both events are in the month of November and are the last big events of 2020. In Paris, Zverev will look to win his first Masters title since 2017 which was one of his best years. And when he goes to London, he will eye his second ATP Finals’ title.

If he achieves both these goals, he can break into the top 4 of the world once again. He has not been ranked that high in a long time; hence, he will be motivated to win those two titles this year.
