Celebrities being a part of videogames isn’t a new sight. Take the case of Keanu Reeves as the latest example. Now it appears yet another high profile name is set to feature in one of the most anticipated game series. Giancarlo Esposito, in an interview with Collider, said that he has been working on a ‘Secret’ videogame. 

Giancarlo Esposito is no stranger. He is well-known for his role in the iconic Breaking Bad and also for roles in series such as Better Call Saul and The Mandalorian. Throughout his acting career, he has won many awards and accolades. 

The actor is not new to the world of gaming either. He has previously voiced and portrayed “The Dentist” in Payday 2. 

Which could be the “Secret Game” Giancarlo Esposito mentioned?

According to reports from Gamereactor, the game is none other than Far Cry 6. Esposito does mention in the interview that the game used some special technology that required a new style of acting. He also revealed that the said game will be huge. 

This video game I did — which is going to be huge. [But I] can’t really mention [it]”, Esposito said.

Why Far Cry makes sense?

Esposito can pull off a negative role without breaking a sweat. When it comes to Far Cry, the antagonist is one of the major selling points. All titles so far had some of the most compelling villains. Esposito could be the next in line for the same. It has also been rumored that Far Cry 6 will feature a North American location. Perhaps, a character such as Gus Fring from BB could be eye-catching enough for the game?
