Breaking – Liverpool seal Benteke Transfer

TalkSport  Reports have confirmed that Benteke is also on his way to Merseyside and that the deal is almost done.

Liverpool tabled an offer of 25m pounds sterling which has been accepted, according to media reports. The Player had release clause of 32m but the club was forced to reduce as the player himself admitted his desire to leave .

The Belgian striker was heavily linked with the move to The Reds and it seems Rodgers has sealed another signing as their spending spree in the summer continues.

Benteke has been in poor form lately but is a highly rated striker in the Premier League. He is considered one of the best in aerial battles and has a great long range shooting ability. Benteke is good with both feet too.

In 81 top flight appearances he has scored 41 goals , hence the goal average is approximately 0.5 . Stats show that he is the most prolific striker Aston has ever had , even better Dwight Yorke.

Earlier this week, reports started trickling throught that Benteke would reject a Spurs move, due to the altercation between him and the club a couple of years ago. It is Believed that the Belgium man remains unhappy with the way Spurs acted when they tried to buy him two years ago and his preference is a move to Liverpool.
