Preview-
Kyrie Irving was the main talking point when the Nets went to visit Boston on Wednesday, although he himself was not present in the stadium. The Celtics fans did not back off in letting their feelings known towards someone who was once their own. After a day’s gap, the teams travel back to Brooklyn for another face-off, and once again without who seem to be protagonist (or the opposite for some). Irving is yet to recover from his shoulder injury, and will remain out at least untill Friday’s game.
On Wednesday, the clash ended as a 121-110 victory for the home side, Celtics. Kemba Walker, who was returning after recovering from concussion, scored a game-high 39 points. He played 31 minutes, where he contributed with four assists and six rebounds apart from his scoring haul. Apart from him, Jaylen Brown returned 22 points and 10 assists, while Jayson Tatum returned 16 points and nine assist apart from his nine rebounds.
As for the Nets, Garret Temple was the highest scorer with 22 points, with Joe Harris a point behind him. Their Centre Jarret Allen also scored 17 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in the half-an hour that he played.
Nets will be keen to get back to winnings ways after their winning run of four games was stopped by the Celtics. The Nets, at their home ground on Friday, will be looking forward to avenge the previous defeat.

Predictions-
The Nets have chance to win against the Celtics almost immediately after a defeat, but with two of their biggest stars missing, it will be difficult for the Nets to bring up a positive result against a strong looking Boston.
