There was a lot of speculation regarding Activision’s new title in the Call of Duty franchise. As fans remained on tenterhooks, Activision broke their silence by revealing their new ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’.
The game releases on November 13 this year, but is presently available for pre-order. There are three editions of the game with slight variation in prices, but all of them have a series of perks not available otherwise. However, all three editions include a beta version which will be applicable for those who pre-order the game.
There is more exciting news. Now, players have a chance to win a key to the beta version of the game for free this weekend.
The COD League Championship will be held this weekend. But the winners of the tournament won’t be the only ones taking away prizes. The League is giving the players a chance to win an early access key of the beta version for free.
Fans need to tune in to watch the ‘Grand Final’ on the League’s official website. Further, they have to sign up or log in to their Activision account and link it with the official COD League website.
After completing this step, they will get the option of selecting the platform on which they want to test the Beta. The platforms include PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
The stream, which goes live on Saturday, offers viewers a chance to win the CDL Champs 2020 Pack. This pack includes Call of Duty League designs for several in-game items, such as graffiti sprays and custom weapon skins.
There is not much that needs to be done. Players just need to stream the video for 30 minutes at any point during the two-day bash. Fulfilling this step gives them a chance at winning a code for a virtual knife with the Call of Duty League logo printed on the blade. This code can be used in ‘Modern Warfare’ and ‘Warzone’.
The entire world got a glimpse of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War on the 26th of this month. The next date that needs to be marked on calendars is September 9, when Activision will roll out a full multiplayer reveal.
