A major Black Ops Cold War DLC update is right around the corner. With the Firebase Z map dropping on February 4, fans are in for a lot of fun. What is this fun exactly? Our favorite Call of Duty YouTuber, TheGamingRevolution, broke it all down in his latest video.

TGR made a video close to 30 minutes long explaining everything that could come with the Feb 4 update. He combed through the official trailer by Treyarch and studied all the characters in the trailer, along with the background and the locations. None of this is certain; however, with no other information to go on, this seems the most probable.

Black Ops Cold War Zombies adds the Ray-K and the Mimic

Apart from the Easter eggs revolving around the rescue of Samantha Maxis and the location of the map, there are two major updates. Firstly, the introduction of a new boss zombie comes in the form of Mimic. Treyarch has borrowed the design from various previous bosses. However, it still looks extremely fierce and might have some interesting abilities.

With two tentacles on its back, the Mimic is going to be a tough opponent in close-range fights. With a chance of being whipped and slapped across the map, it would be smarter to take on long-range fights against the boss.

To make that happen, Treyarch has also come up with a new weapon. A much advance and futuristic model of the AK, the Ray-K combines the ray gun into the traditional Kalashnikov. The new wonder weapon was in the game files when Black Ops Cold War Zombies had initially launched. However, it appears that Treyarch was saving it for the first DLC update.

According to TheGamingRavolution, Firebase Z is much a much larger map than Die Maschine. It also looks much more interesting as it has multiple locations and is well lit with more colors. The final verdict would obviously arrive on February 4 itself. Till then, fans can use all this information to build up hype around Firebase Z coming to Cold War.
