After months of speculation, rumors, and leaks, Activision has finally announced the next title in the Call of Duty franchise. The upcoming title will be a direct sequel to Black Ops 1 and will be named Black Ops Cold War.
The game will roll out on November 13 this year. And while it just been a couple of days since the worldwide reveal, Activision has already made $37.3 million dollars from it!
If you have missed out on the details and want to pre-order the game, it’s important for you to know that all versions of the game come with certain perks.
Following the worldwide reveal, the game rolled out for pre-orders and is available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
While the disk versions will be available for the consoles in November when the game releases, PC gamers will only get access to the digital version.
Now, if you’re a console player, you need to follow the following simple steps-
While all editions might have some similar ones, the Ultimate edition offers more perks than the others.
A physical disk of the game won’t be available for PC gamers, but they can purchase a digital version of the game through Battle.net. However, only the Standard and Ultimate versions are available. The pre-order also gets you access to the beta launch.
Zombies will make a return to the game. Moreover, considering the game is a direct sequel to the Black Ops (released in 2010), it will see the revival of some old characters.
The Call of Duty League is also giving away 10,000 beta keys for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War this weekend as the season comes to a close.
As we wait for the release, the next date you should mark on your calenders is September 9 when we’ll get a full multiplayer reveal.
