Season 4 of Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War is right around the corner. The reloaded update for the current season has already arrived, and we’ll not witness any new content in the next 2 weeks.
The Battle Pass for Season 3 will end on June 16. Hence, it is safe to assume that the new season will release on June 17, alongside a ton of new maps, killstreaks, and Zombies content that have been rumored so far.

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War Season 4 can literally be a game-changer
Activision will take part in the upcoming Summer Games Fest from June 10. Naturally, the publisher will use this opportunity to drop some hints regarding Warzone, Black Ops Cold War’s Season 4, and this year’s Call of Duty title.

As per insiders, Season 4 will contain new killstreaks, weapons, and maps, that have been either added in the game files or revealed in earlier roadmaps:
Killstreaks
- Annihilator
- K9 Unit
- Flamethrower
Season 4 will have one of these killstreaks, and the remaining two will come in Season 5 and Season 6.
Weapons
- Ameli LMG
- DIY 11 Renovator from Black Ops 3
- Switchblade X9
- Cordite
The placeholder prototypes for all these weapons are present in the game files. Hence, it is safe to assume they will arrive with Season 4.
Maps
- Echelon- 6v6 map
- Dunes- Combined arms map with vehicle spawns
- Hijacked (Remaster)
- Zoo- Fireteam
- Weather Station- Fireteam
Insiders have suggested that 8 remakes have been planned for Black Ops Cold War. If this is true, seven more remasters are yet to appear in the game. Accordingly, every season from Season 4 onwards might contain two remaster maps.

Zombies content potentially coming in Season 4
The third Zombies map based in Berlin will finally come to Zombies with Season 4. While it may be a part of the reloaded update, the second Outbreak quest will be available at the season’s outset. The confirmation regarding Zoo and Weather Station maps also implies that they will become new regions in Outbreak.
Three months ago, a wonder weapon for Outbreak mode had also surfaced. This weapon is called the Mega Barrel and belongs to Ultra rarity.
A new Field Upgrade named Lightning Links was earlier leaked alongside Toxic Growth and Frenzy Guard. While the latter two upgrades are now officially available, the former is rumored to arrive soon. There’s also a possibility of Tier 6 upgrades being added in the mechanics with Season 4.

The hype for Season 4 is certainly sky-scraping, thanks to a plethora of aforementioned leaks and rumors. It will be great if Treyarch rolls out the next season with an aim to satisfy the demands of both multiplayer and Zombies players.
