Sticks and Stones gets minor overhaul on Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War

The patch notes for the update showcases the list of changes arriving in the game. The biggest focus in the patch is for the popular multiplayer game mode, Sticks and Stones. These changes include fixes for the bug of players getting 50 instead of 100 points for Tomahawk kills on their screen. Along with that, they also fixed the issue of Finishing moves not being counted as melee kills.

The Snipers Only Moshpit mode also gets a tweak in their loadouts. From now on, players can’t use the Ballistic Knife after there were complaints about the weapon being overly used in the game mode. Along with that, they also fixed the issue with Beck’s Season Three Battle Pass Operator Mission. The objective, which required players to block 1000 incoming damage with Armor Plates, had some problems regarding its progress in Multi-team modes.

Zombies also received some new bug fixes. This includes patches for various issues, like the scoreboard losing functionality and the Match Bonus XP appearing as a negative value. Treyarch also patched a crash bug that occurs while migrating hosts during an objective in Outbreak.

New Gunfight Tournament and Diesel 24/7 playlist

The Black Ops Cold War update also introduces a new Diesel 24/7 playlist. The desert map will now feature 6v6 battles instead of 3v3 matches. Fans can play the map in multiple modes like Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, Hardpoint and Domination. The game also brings back Faceoff to Featured Playlists. Finally, a new Gunfight tournament will also start on April 29.

This patch fixes a lot of errors caused by the introduction of the massive Season 3 update. With new tournaments and mode changes, fans can continue to enjoy the thrill of Call of Duty without worrying about these issues.
