Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War Season 1: Double XP and Double Weapon XP Dates Announced

The Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War Season 1 has been announced and will drop on December 16. The season was delayed due to reasons unknown, but one of the possible reasons could be a clash with Cyberpunk 2077. Nevertheless, it is an exciting time for Call of Duty fans as they await the new title’s transition into Warzone.

In a bid to build the anticipation further, the developers have announced the Double XP and Double Weapon XP dates as well.

The Double XP weekend will take place before Season 1 begins. Starting December 12, players will be able to enjoy Double XP and Double Weapons XP till the new season starts. This is incredibly generous from Treyarch and will definitely be appreciated by the fans.

Additionally, there are also two free bundles available to the players which can be acquired easily. All the players have to do is make sure to log in between December 8 and December 15 to claim these bundles.

The Call of Duty franchise has proven to be a gold mine for Activision. According to recent reports, the franchise earned Activision $3 billion, and it shows no signs of stopping. Additionally, Call of Duty Warzone recently surpassed 85 million players globally after having launched in March 2020.
