The latest weapon to become a part of Black Ops Cold War is the CARV.2. It works like the M16, which was often considered the best weapon in Season 2. Many believe that the CARV.2 is going to be another meta-changing weapon from the Tactical Rifles category.

Alongside public matches, it comes as no surprise that the CARV.2 is equally good in Zombies, and becomes the perfect alternative for the M16.
Challenges to unlock the CARV.2 in Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War Multiplayer
For getting your hands on the CARV.2, you need to rapidly kill 2 or more players in 10 different completed matches using Tactical Rifles.

The Tactical Rifles in BOCW are great, and completing this challenge with them should not be a problem. It is recommended to play in Hardcore mode and make the most out of it.
The Type 63 and the M16 are arguably the two best weapons in Hardcore mode. The challenge requires you to simply get 2 rapid kills, hence, ensure that you equip a barrel that grants the quickest fire rate among all.
Nuketown, Face Off, and Diesel are three maps that offer the most intense action in Hardcore. Naturally, they should be your priority when trying to unlock the CARV.2.
Unlock the CARV.2 in Zombies easily
Unlocking the CARV.2 in Zombies seems to be a much easier task as you need to get 250 longshot kills with tactical rifles.
Using the M16 is a wise strategy if you’re attempting to get 250 longshot kills In Zombies. Just put a decent scope on it, and it should be good to go. Lastly, try completing the challenge in Outbreak, as other maps like Firebase Z do not provide enough chances to get longshot kills.

While unlocking the CARV.2 in Multiplayer might take more than an hour, doing the same in Zombies will cost a maximum of 20-30 minutes.

All in all, the CARV.2 is a great weapon for public matches and Zombies. Fans of the M16 have been looking for another weapon to cater to their playstyle for a long time now, and from the looks of it, the CARV.2 will serve this purpose efficiently.
