For the first time, Treyarch has introduced a never-seen-before game mode from Black Ops Cold War. Treyarch has titled it ‘Fireteam.’ It is a multiplayer mode with 10 teams of four players, who will “face off against one another in large-scale maps.” Moreover, the game mode will also feature various vehicles, including choppers, bikes, quads equipped with artillery.

The players will come together to complete a variety of objectives in order to win the game. In an initial announcement, made on September 9th, Treyarch had said that they would call the first signature Fireteam game type, ‘Dirty Bomb.’
Call of Duty has finally dropped the trailer for Fireteam: Dirty Bomb, and it looks like the mode could be the best MP mode featured in Black Ops Cold War. What’s even better is Activision has included Fireteam in the list of game modes available for the Cold War cross-play beta.

The objective of players in the game mode is to collect and deposit Uranium into dirty bombs. Once they have enough, they can explode the dirty bombs, rendering parts of the map unplayable. Fireteams must eliminate the opposition and detonate these bombs in order to win the match.
They can earn score by eliminating enemies, depositing uranium, and detonating bombs. The Fireteam that reaches the score limit first will achieve victory.

The trailer also shows that players will have various tools at their disposal, including loadouts and vehicles. Fireteam is the newest game mode that developers have added to Call of Duty. They couldn’t have chosen a better game type than Dirty Bomb. In fact, some are even calling it the perfect combination of both the MP and BR mode. This will bring together players from both arenas and put their skills to test.
