Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War is all set to release its first season next week. Treyarch released the roadmap for the season a while back, which revealed new zombies modes are going to come into the game with time.
In the meantime, Zombies fans can still keep busy with a number of things inside the game. The Die Maschine map is out and according to sources, Season 1 will be played on this map alone. No new Zombies map is coming out anytime soon. At least not before Season 2, which will be in February.
For the new players, who are trying out Zombies for the first time, they will not see any tutorial in the game. Nonetheless, when they start playing, the game will guide them with what to do and how, along the way.

If we talk about Zombies endings, what we have right now is pretty disappointing. A cut scene appears where a helicopter rescues you and your teammates and seconds later the island gets nuked. However, some players were lucky enough to experience a Dark Aether ending.
TekRantGaming posted a clip on Reddit where he played in the Dark Aether Exfil round, and it looked beautiful. It might just be a timing glitch that lined up perfectly. Nonetheless, it is proof that a Dark Aether alternate ending exists and is currently in the game.

Stiener is not directly connected to Zombies, but Cold War might surprise us sometime later with a DLC on him. He was an ex-Nazi who created the chemical weapon Nova 6. His facility was located in the Ural Mountains, the exact same map where Fireteam- Dirty Bombs mode is played in Cold War.
Even during the campaign, there is a mission in the Ural Mountains and Stiener’s name comes up significantly.

This might seem far-fetched, but we can expect a Ural Mountain Zombies map in the game at a later time. This Stiener DLC could also pave way for more Black Ops 1 characters to make a comeback.
More information on this front can be expected once Season 1 is released. Watch this space for more news on Call of Duty.
