The Call of Duty: Black Ops- Cold War has kicked off in spectacular fashion. Fans of the franchise have praised the game?s Zombies mode thoroughly. Although, there are also a few things about the game that fans have highlighted, which may not be the best for developer Treyarch.
Despite mixed reactions to the multiplayer and campaign of the game, fans have really admired the new Zombies mode. The new map ‘Die Maschine’ is set in a completely different universe. Along with the new gameplay mechanics, there are also a few easter eggs to explore.

For instance, the song easter egg in the game plays a track developed by Treyarch?s sound designer Kevin Sherwood. Now, fans have spotted yet another easter egg, which seems like a familiar sight to many.
A giant monster appears in Call of Duty: Black Ops- Cold War Zombies
According to a clip that surfaced on Reddit, there seems to be a giant monster that appears in the middle of the game. Take a look at the video by popular Youtuber ?TheGamingRevolution?, below:
There is no known procedure to unlock this easter egg, which could mean that it is random. According to ?TheGamingRevolution?, it may be just random as it appears during round 45. However, he also revealed some interesting background about the giant monster appearing in the game.
According to one of the Dark Aether files, these giants are referred to as ?elder gods?. He also reveals that the elder gods are Apothicans corrupted by the Dark Aether. The elder gods would be the higher-class Apothicans, which are different, more-powerful from the other corrupted creatures.
However, in the Dark Aether storyline, the Apothicans and Keepers merged, resolving the duality. Additionally, the ?Die Maschine? map also contains a graffiti that states, “The Accursed one shall rise again.” This could mean that there is more to the storyline than what meets the eye. There may yet be another big boss fight coming very soon.
Interestingly, a lot of people believe that this monster looks like the origins robot but there is no certainty at all. Once the story progresses further with DLCs and additional content, more information will come to light.
