Will Ludvig return in Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War?

Thanks to data miners shedding light and providing insight for the community, we now know of yet another interesting piece of information. The Zombies mode of Black Ops Cold War might see the return of Ludvig Maxis. Those familiar with the name will know how big this is.

He has featured as an antagonist and a supporting character in World at War and the Black Ops titles. The intro cutscene of Die Maschine already features Ludvig’s daughter Samantha.

The post talks about available perks in the upcoming game as well. However, as far as the available info regarding BOCW goes, the game has discarded every element from the previous zombies’ storyline. Therefore, it might be so that Maxis will return in a different form altogether.

But if this title sees the return of Maxis, it would mean that this new storyline will be in accordance with the Aether storyline.
