Call Of Duty Black Ops: Cold War released the trailer last month. Since then everyone has been busy figuring out what weapons will be available in the game. A few of them were figured out very soon from the snippets of the trailer. Before we get to the guns we can figure out from the trailer there’s another one that has been leaked.

A fair assumption was made previously about what weapons will be in the game. Because of the fact that this game is set during the Cold War, we can expect a few WW2 era weapons. It seems the assumption was correct. A leak was posted on Twitter today which confirms the return of the Grease Gun.

The M3A1 or the Grease Gun is not very new to COD titles. It made its first appearance in Call Of Duty: Finest Hour. There it was available for only one mission. It was brought back in Call Of Duty 2 and Call Of Duty WW2, both of the times were it was used extensively.

The manual description of the gun reads, “The compact size of the M3A1 makes it an ideal fit for use inside a tank. With its relatively low rate of fire, this weapon is easier to control than most submachine guns.”

The Grease Gun was never a favorite for COD fans. The gun has a slow fire rate and lower damage than other SMGs. At close range, the gun required around three to four bullets to kill when shot above the torso. The fire rate being low was another downside. The only good thing about this weapon was that it was fairly easy to control.

No wonder the reactions about the M3A1 have not been positive on Twitter.

The AK 47 can be expected but the name might not be the same. However, in the coming weeks, we expect to know more about weapons in BO: Cold War.
