Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone just came out with season 3. This means that Infinity Ward added a chunk of new and exciting content. Some of the goods include new maps, gameplay options, and gear.

Unfortunately, for every piece of good news, there is some bad news as well. A few dedicated Warzone players noticed that there was a distinct lack of three-player squads in the new update, also known as trios. Instead, a four-player Quads option got shovelled in its place.

Admittedly, fans were satisfied with Infinity Ward when they added new modes and options to the game. A Solos game mode received a lot of positive reception. However, to incorporate the issue the project had to sacrifice the Trios option. The news got worse when the general public demanded that the developers bring back the Trios option.

In layman’s terms Quads adds an extra player to each battle royale team. The idea was to give players more chances to win and a better opportunity to revive teammates and vice-versa.

In the Quads mode, there is more emphasis on teamwork, and even the duos mode is dependent on the same thing. However, it appeared that nobody wanted 4-player squads and were used to playing in threes. Evidently, Infinity Ward listened to the fans and they acted almost immediately.

However Infinity Ward elected to compromise and retained quads mode in the event that the mode attracted some fans. Call of Duty even rolled out a playlist update across all the FPS game’s platforms. The big news is: “We’ve added BR Trios back into Warzone!”

The Quads option is still available in the game, along with Solos. However, the developers brought back Trios to battle royale.

Furthermore, according to a leak from Polack19, Call of Duty: Warzone “Duos” are also in the works. In fact, the official Call of Duty site briefly displayed it in a ‘new mods’ section – alongside the text: “And more throughout the season.”
